Set Up

Tables Admin

- If Tables integrated then In Tables > Brand Admin > Brand Set Up > Booking Components, the brand or site/s will need to inherit settings from Events:

Events Estate Admin

- Payment as part of the booking journey will be enabled dependant on a booking rule action for 'require deposit' or 'require pre authorisation'.

- When creating a booking rule action for these requirements, there will be an option to select a check box for 'Require deposit / pre auth as part of the....'

- Once selected, if a booking is made via the API or widget, payment will be required before the booking is completed.

Widget Booking Journey

If a guest attempts to make a booking where a booking rule for payment as a part of the journey is triggered the following will occur:

- When the guest is prompted for their details, they will be informed that the deposit payment or pre auth is required before confirmation:

- Once a guest submits their personal details, a temporary booking will be created, but not visible on the host applications, and it will consume capacity.

- The guest will be directed to the payment page where a 10 minute timer will count down (with a 30 second grace period):

- If the guest completes the payment before the timer expires, the booking will become permanent and confirmed and follow all current functionality in the host applications.

- If the guest does not complete the booking before the timer expires, the temporary booking will also expire and release the capacity.

If the guest chooses to 'return', they will need to submit their details again and another temporary booking will be created.

For phase 1, Enquiries Beta will only load the first 100 results.

The host will have the ability to see, filter and search for bookings and enquiries for a longer period of time, i.e. a week or a month:

Search results are shown as the first 100 items by page as default, but the user may choose their own limits.

Users can also filter results using dynamic column headers. Each can be filtered by the data displayed.

However, Deposit, Pre-Order, Pre-Payment and Pre-Auth can only be filtered by none, pending, partial and complete:

This will be shown as a information question mark by each Special day.
